Gungahlin Drive Augmentation consisted of works valued at $3.2M for the widening of a section of road in Mitchell, ACT, and reconfiguration of an intersection that required service relocation, stormwater, pavement construction and landscaping. These works were completed during live car, pedestrian and cyclist conditions.
This busy section of road is adjacent to natural temperate grasslands that feature federal and state-listed plants and animals. Monitoring was required for these threatened species along with monitoring for pollution and weeds to ensure works were kept within the road boundaries.
Cord Civil expects excellence in environmental performance and our team worked closely with the client and contractors to maintain these high standards.
