Richard Sharp has over three decades' experience in providing advice and expertise in his chosen areas of professional practice. This includes ecological and heritage risk assessment, management planning for ecology and heritage, applying best practice to all stages of a project, post-approval monitoring, auditing and compliance for major infrastructure projects.
Richard performs his work with considerable independence in approach, demanding a considerable degree of originality, ingenuity and judgement across more than one field of expertise.
He regularly provides technical advice on how to minimise and avoid causing harm to the environment when constructing and operating infrastructure and is often asked to recommend courses of action necessary to expedite the successful accomplishment of environmental performance objectives.
Richard is a Fellow of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP). He is also an Exemplar Global certified professional in that he is a Lead Auditor for Environmental Management Systems and specialises in construction audits and operational audits of electricity and water infrastructure.
